Educate

Over the last couple of years, we realized that a very important part of changing the plight of domesticated rabbits in this province is to educate people about domesticated rabbits.

Without the education, we are only "band-aiding" the situation

 

For this reason, along with the education we provide through our   

website, social media and direct contact one-on-one, we have

started to offer an education program to groups of people who are

interested in learning more about rabbits, their nutritional needs,

proper housing, medical concerns and the differences between

domesticated rabbits and snowshoe hares that are native to Nova

Scotia.
